Welcome to the Abboud Lab

The Abboud laboratory was conceived in the early 1960’s with support of a Research Career Development Award (HE-K3-17013) and a grant from the NIH (HE-09835). That support continued without interruption since then and took the form of a major NIH Program Project Grant in 1971 (HL-014388), that remains fully funded until 2019 with the current title of Integrative Neurobiology of Cardiovascular Regulation. A close collaboration between the Abboud and the Chapleau laboratories has been sustained for 3 decades.
